Error 5760 in Event Viewer regarding InfoPath

Microsoft is working on my case to solve the issue I have with attachments in InfoPath. Today I found this error registered in Event Viewer on the MOSS server:

Hi,
I’ve got the same error on my customer’s MOSS server. Did Microsoft tell you something about it? Thank you very much,
– Gabriele

Lise

Hi Gabriele,
No they have not come up with a solution yet. The error is still in my logs so I hope Microsoft finds a solution to this. They have been working on my InfoPath case for several months now! I will definitely post the solution here!
Take care,
Lise

many thanks for your quick answer!!
Someone says that this command could solve the problem:

stsadm -o reconvertallformtemplates

what do you think about it? I’d like to try but we are in a production environment… you know…
Thank you again,
– Gab

Lise

Yes, I have heard that too. And we have an upgraded server, so I it seemed to be the solution but (like you) we run our server in a production environment and I have not been able to try it either. We use InfoPath a lot and I don’t wanna think about the consequences that could give us – if it fails 🙂
Do you also have problems with attachments in InfoPath?

Gabbo

No, we don't have any particular problems with attachments in Infopath… just that annoying error in app event viewer. It happens sometimes when users publish their updated data using Infopath forms, but it's quite a random error, so it's hard to analyze and reproduce.
I'm trying to backup the full production environment and restore it into a Virtual Machine, to test that stsadm command and see what happens. Then, I'll let you know the result. 😉
bye & thanx!
